Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Allen Nguyen ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the iOS applications published under AllenApps (collectively, the "Apps").
The short version: we do not collect, store, or share your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
No Accounts or Login Required
Our Apps do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use them. There is no registration process and no user profile system.
Data Storage — On-Device Only
Any data you enter or generate while using the Apps (such as recipes, notes, or preferences) is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is never transmitted to our servers (we don't operate any)
- Is never shared with any third party by us
- Is removed when you delete the App
If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, Apple may back up your app data as part of a standard device backup. That process is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Amazon Affiliate Links
Some Apps display product recommendations that include Amazon affiliate links. When you tap one of these links, you are redirected to Amazon's website or app. We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program.
Important notes about this interaction:
- We do not receive or store any information about your Amazon browsing or purchase activity.
- All data collected on Amazon's platform is governed exclusively by Amazon's Privacy Notice.
- Tapping an affiliate link may result in us earning a small commission if you make a qualifying purchase. This does not affect the price you pay.
Subscriptions and Payments
Some Apps offer optional paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. All transactions are processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit 2 framework and the App Store.
- We never see, receive, or store your payment information (card numbers, bank details, etc.).
- Billing is handled by Apple and governed by Apple's Terms of Sale.
- Subscription management, cancellation, and refunds are handled directly through your Apple ID settings.
Analytics and Tracking
Our Apps do not include any analytics SDKs, crash-reporting services, or advertising frameworks. We do not track your usage, sessions, or behavior within the Apps. There are no third-party tracking libraries of any kind.
Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. Because we do not collect personal data in the first place, there is nothing to share.
Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because we collect no data at all, there is nothing specific to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) to disclose beyond this statement.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Apps after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
